Biofit Bio Larvicide is a natural herbal oil extract-based formulation that functions as a bio-pesticide and a natural fumigant. It is recommended for the management of insects and pests that feed on crops. Bio Larvicide is made up of medicinal and spice plant species, which effectively control ‘fall armyworm’ and other plant-infesting larvae. This is an effective herbal control and an ideal alternative to chemical pesticides. It can be easily emulsified with water. The principles of active herbal oil extracts are that they affect the nervous, physiological, and anatomical systems of insects at all life stages. They interfere with their neurotransmitters and hormones, hampering their ‘fight-flight’ response.
Application dosage: Spray 2 ml/litre of water within 7 to 10 days of interval. Ensure the undersides of the leaves are also sprayed upon. Use early morning or after sunset (during evening).
Application Time: The first spray should be done at the initial appearance of pests, and followed by the application after every 7 to 10 days of interval. The application interval depends on the pest population.
